Project: Install or Replace Exterior Trim
This is a really great contractor. They were very prompt, polite, knowledgeable and neat. They replaced the trim on the front of our house with metal-wrapped trim, and they did a wonderful job. They worked quickly and efficiently, and it looks beautiful. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and neighbors and we will use them in the future for all our outside construction needs.

We received five bids to install a new roof, using GAF Slateline shingles, and new oversized gutters with screens and to fix some dormer and facia problems on our large Cape Cod in a densely-wooded area near Warrenton.
S and B Contracting's Bill Schneider did a great job evaluating our house, making suggestions and preparing his proposal. S and B submitted the lowest bid. Affter careful evaluation, we accepted the bid.
Bill and his crews did an outstanding job. They carefully removed old stuff and replaced it with materials and workmanship that should endure for decades. The crews were hard-working, clean and courteous.

An outstanding job overall. Delayed a few times because of rain, but the contractor managed this issue very well. And he still got started fairly quickly. Still finding roofing nails about the yard and patio, but I guess you can't get all of them. This contractor uses a subcontractor, but the sub did an outstanding job. Friendly, fast, efficient, and -- by the way -- I got a great roof. I would hire them again, and would recommend them to neighbors and friends.

Intial work was fabulous. But when we had a followup. He was sending mixed signals to me. He was having issues that things were not done right the first time, but was ready to fix it, and was complaining also.
