Once they had my money, it was very difficult to communicate with them. They did not return my phone or email messages. They failed to effectively seal off the work area during demolition and the whole house became VERY dusty. Installing a shower door was included in the contract price. I had to have the door custom made and the maker installed it. They said I would receive a refund. It has been more than two weeks and no refund yet, although they were very prompt in picking up their payments.

They are doing a very professional job, the man in charge, Frank Gonzalez, has been invaluable in his help with decision making.

They are the worst joke I have ever had. I had to fire them on the job. Am going to take them to court if they don't give me my money back.

SD Home Improvements was the worst I had ever had. When finally the SUB contractors arrived they were fine. It took 2 months to get them here. That was not there fault it was the fault of SD Home Improvement, the project manager and the organization. I think they are a sham and would never recommend them.

The repair work on the ceiling did not match very well after the initial repair, which can be expected. It took several weeks to get the company to send the worker back out to redo. My wife feels she got a lot of run around from the office with several phone calls, promises and rescheduling (after staying home all day waiting on a 8 am appointment). The work was eventually completed to her satisfaction.

Roofing repairs and new soffits, fascia and rain gutters. Detailed quote and everything was done on time. Excellent work crew and great cleanup. Reasonable price and no hardsell for more than I wanted. Walkthrough at end very helpful and easy to arrange a few final adjustments. Will call them for my next project.

The workers and workmanship was wonderful The Project Manager did not understand the concept Manage Project. He was never around, the workers did not know what they were suppose to do so my husband acted as the Project Manager and the job went smooth. The workers were friendly. Cleaned up each night and did great work. But the company needs to train their project managers on how to 'Manage a Project"

This was the most horrific experience I have ever had with a contractor. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemies. They are very unprofessional, lack communication skills, and unreliable. I fired this company because they would not fulfill their promises of the times given to me to start work. When I questioned the project manager as to why no one was here working he would place blame on the subcontractor. After the poor customer service we were receiving I fired this company. I am currently sitting with unusable space that use to be my master bathroom, and I no longer have trust in their product. I now have to shop for another contractor, which is really going to be hard to overcome the trust factor. I know the cost is going to be unbelievable. All courtesy of San Diego Home Improvements! Did a great job, very careful not to get paint on neighbors cars, etc. Might be a little pricey but I'm very satisfied w/the job.

took 3 weeks to do a complete remodel on a 5x8 bathroom. The finish work is marginal. Tile work was fair but could have been better. Final clean up and small touch ups I completed. Asked for assistance with a granite vanity top, it's a bigger cabinet top, waited over a month, calling 4 times, with no help. Finally finished it myself.
