Called 15mins. late to say he would be arriving 45mins. late. Was not prepared. Needed home owner to supply drop cloth and shop vac before he begain work. Care was not given when breaking into dry wall. Left home owner with task of cutting rough edge before installing new insulation & dry wall. Foundation patch applied in a sloppy fashion.

Repaired one crack in basement foundation wall. So far repair appears to be stopping water flow. However, was disappointed with the finished look of the repair as the epoxy was applied sloppily. It could have easily been smoothed out to look better, but wasn't. The concrete dust from drilling the port holes was left on the floor and not cleaned up. Stan was above average though for communication and prompt service.

I needed the garage apron repaired due to some bad cracking. It was a small job, but SKV was happy to provide an estimate (which turned out to be the lowest), and to do the work. These small jobs always seems a bit expensive, but I prefer to have a professional do the work right once, rather than me trying to fix it over and over again.

My experience with SKV-Construction was positive from start to finish. When I reached Stan through Service Magic, he immediately got on top of setting up an appointment with my tenant to fix the leak in my foundation. While getting the appointment finalized, Stan was diligent and helped me by ensuring that the tenant followed-through before any damage was done to the property. His price was fair and he was professional and courteous throughout the process. I would definitely recommend SKV and will use them again in the future should I be in need of the services they offer

He wasn't honest about the amount of work it would take. He claimed it would take 2 people about 3 days to complete the job and quoted me $3000. It turned out that the work required would only take about a day and a half. But he still wanted the full 3000 dollars claiming that I signed a contract. He he knew he was ripping me off and didn't care. In one day he basically completed the job by himself and asked for half the total quoted amount. When I tried to negotiate the total fee he refused to budge and threaten to file a lien on my house if I did not let him complete. I would not recommend his services to other people.
