Project: Install or Replace Wood Stairs and Railings
Steve is a young man who is truly interested in his work and in doing a good job for his customers. He was professional, prompt, courteous and personable. He did a superb job in preparing our stairs for a new stain and installing new wood rails and ballisters. His painter/stainers completed an absolutely beautiful job. Would highly recommend him.

I had my interior wood stairs, posts and balusters replaced by Steve Bialek of S&D Carpentry. He did a wonderful job. He was punctual, professional and trustworthy. He arrived on time with literature and pictures of set posts, railing & balusters. He e-mailed me a detailed estimate of all work and material including outside painting labor. His work was preformed in a timely and excellent manner. I will use Steve again for all my carpentry needs and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Project: Construct Built-In Furniture
Back in March of 2010, Steve designed a built-in bookcase and window seat with shelves and storage cabinets below in our living room that is not only functional, but beautiful as well. He made it look like it's part of the room and has always been there. We were pleased with his work and would definitely hire him again. He's wonderful to work with.

Steve replaced 6 doors, base, chair rail and crown moldings in my LR, DR and hallway. Steve did an excellent job. He was professional, on time, easy to work with. He asked questions and kept me updated Highly recommended!!! Beautiful work!!!
