Though he came right out, he didn't provide an estimate. His hourly rate is on the high end of those I spoke to, he charges for travel time and time to go buy supplies. He also didn't show me the completed work, or call back to verify it worked. It leaks now, but nothing I can't compensate for. I'd recommend him only if you get an estimate and understand all the potential costs upfront.

Ok it seems like people are feeding off the previous job and using that as ammunition against me.My pricing is very good , the quality of work is excellent, and I always ask if there are any problems not to hesitate to call me because I want to know if something is wrong. It's rare that I ever get calls to go back on a job.

Project: Repair or Service a Water Heater
Called back promptly and set up an appointment for the next day. Arrived on time, and was professional and appeared knowledgeable about the situation. Total time on job was one hour, but when I received the bill, there was 2 hours billed. I questioned the bill and was told the extra hour was for the service magic fee, the travel time, and a service charge. We were able to come to an agreement and he did reduce my price alittle. I would caution to get all the information up front for all the fees that might be included. I have never had another service person charge like that. They always charge for their time on the job and the parts needed.

I gave her a price before the work was started and she agreed. I had to get parts and travel to her house,which was included in the price. She read the rating of the previous customer and fed off of that. I told her she was charged for our total time on her job not just the time in her house. I gave her an additional discount after explaining the charges but will not do any more work for her, ever for any price. I was fair on my pricing.

Our rates are very competative..they have to be in order to compete with the other plumbers in the area. We are very aware of pricing. I had to totally re run a gas line a homeowner cut out and left open. I did this in order to meet the current code. Now it's right. Sometimes homeowners don't realize how complicated a job is ..it looks easy to them...

Very punctual, assessed problem, explained what would be involved in repairing problem, and was able to repair another leak that we were not even aware of. Cleaned up after job was completed.

Owner was selling his house. wanted to repair a tub-shower faucet that needed to be replaced. I also fixed a sink that had no water pressure and installed a tub spout that he took off and couldn't put back. Selling the house soon.

Mr Simcox is a master plumber of the highest quality. He is prompt , well mannered, and clean. He had all the little things that a plumber should have with him. He solved all the problems I had which were many. You could not go wrong with this plumber.

Promptly resoponded to my inquiry. Very knowledgeable -I explained my problem over the phone and he walked me through some options. Sam himself came to preform the work. Will use him again for our plumbing needs.

He did an excellent job! What was important was that he could set an exact appointment for the repair rather than a window of time, like 8 -12, that he might show up. Not only did he set an exact appointment time but he was on time. I had to arrange for someone to be there,.and they said he did a very good job. When I got home, I saw that they did an excellent job. Their estimate was what I did pay. i

I chose Sam because he came first & I had a leak; But he started out with one quote; and kept adding on parts; & the next thing you know the price had doubled!!!!!

I re-emailed this customer and wrote..I just read your review of the work I did..Your bill should have been 256 dollars. I only charged you 196 dollars.which included 77dollars in parts and 119 dollars labor. No one will beat that price yet you said I charged you double.....Plus the work was done on a Saturday..for that price.

Sam was friendly, professional and did excellent work repairing a zone valve and washing machine sump pump as well as our toilet. His prices were fair for the work done.
