Riddle Design is a service based design firm, dedicated to listening to our clients’ dreams and translating those dreams into built form. We begin our process by learning our clients’ goals and values through a series of discussions. We use those values to guide our decisions throughout the entire process.
The firm consists of two principals, one full time and five part time staff members giving us the capacity to serve our clients well on projects with a construction value of up to $10 Million. Although Riddle Design is a relatively young firm, most of the staff has been working together for more than five years. Our clients benefit from our experience together by our design and documentation process being a smooth, seamless collaboration of friends who have shared values.
Our team brings over eighty years of combined experience and three registered architects to our clients’ projects. This experience gives us a broad range of successfully completed buildings to draw from when we are solving each new problem that faces the project team. Our collective project experience has ranged in construction size from less than $500,000 to more than $30 Million. We bring a passion for good client service and beautiful, functional design to each of our projects whether it is large or small.
Jim Riddle, AIA, founded Riddle Design in November of 2002 to provide quality service for design oriented clients.

Review by a customerin Kirkwood, MO Project: Hire an Architect to Design a Project
The designs they provided was amazing. They were very easy to work with, and did a great job. We have some problems with the construction documents during construction due to some lack of detail, but they were available to answer questions. The cost was a little more then quoted, but not outrageous. If the construction documents would have been better, you can not find a better architect. They are a smaller firm, and really work hard to make sure you are happy. You will get personalized attention, and not a cookie cutter house design by any means.
