richard did a beutiful job on our bathroom vanity and linen closet, he uses quality wood and is very reasonably priced, i would check with richard before you purchase any cabnets at the locol box stores,

I wasn't sure what the end result would be when I decided to go with one of the recommended contractors from ServiceMagic, but after reading reviews from previous customers of Richard Dent, I decided to take a chance. My husband and I were very impressed upon meeting with Richard and seeing pictures of previous projects, and we felt confident to proceed in hiring him for our kitchen remodel. He made suggestions to improve upon our plan and we were thilled with the end result!

We are very pleased with what Richard did with our 30 year old cabinets. Our cabinets are nicely finished. New hardware and a crown molding really updated the look without costing a lot of money.

Richard is one fine cabinet maker. The rusult is perfect. He also fixed the hinges on 2 other cabinets w/o charge. I felt compelled to give him a tip. The entire experience was delighful. It doesn't get any better than this. . .

Richard was great. He refinished our 14 year old cabinets. Sanded, stained, varnished, new hinges, and repaired drawers. They look brand new. He also re-finished our windows, doors, and bathroom vanities. He did an excellent job.

Project: Repair Cabinets
Richard Dent did a magnificent job for us. He came to repair our bathroom drawer "spur of the moment"! and my husband is somewhat handicapped and cannot get down under sinks, so we appreciated it over 100 He also repaired our kitchen cabinetry under the sink, and their again did a wonderful job and did not make us wait in between the service at all. We will definitely call Richard again!

Project: Refinish Already Installed Cabinets
An hour before the project was to begin, we were informed he was attending a funeral- a week and a half delay. The inside of new cabinets were not painted. One cabinet was not painted on a viewable area toward the top. A contractor promise of customer satisfaction no matter what needed to be corrected was not fulfilled. Several door fronts were redone because of being much darker, having spots and having granules on the surface. One came back worse with a gouge in the corner. Stated he could do no more as he had lost money on the job with the additional trips (one was because he forgot a door). Refused to give us name of the stain color.

IM sorry they feel that the project was a week late as I was attending my MOTHER'S FUNERAL most people would understand that as far as the customer being satisfied if they weren't satisfied why was I paid in full for the job ??? This review came out five months after I had completed the job I was shocked to have read this
