Project: Install a Retaining Wall
The team showed up on time, completed the job, but killed all the adjacent greenery, did a sloppy job, almost made some significant changes from our agreed design and left a mess. I came home in time to prevent modifications to the agreed design. But was too late to save the pachysandra above the wall or prevent the sloppy work of unevenly backfilling with rocks without laying dirt and mulch on top. When I contacted Rich, he was unconcerned, and just said it’ll come back in a year. It has not and I’ll need to fix it.

I wish I had a before and after picture. This company did a great job. My patio, walkway and steps looks like new. I never thought I could get anyone to put my patio back together, and really thought I would have to replace it with a new one. The workers were really pleasant and wouldn't leave until everything looked perfect. I highly recommend this company.

Very good team. Listens and is open to suggestions. They were on time, professional and responsive. I would hire them again. Did a great job on our patio, stairs and front walkway.

Phil and his crew went above and beyond the original scope of the quote. The wall came out great and they left the surrounding area looking better than it did before the project started. Would definitely hire again.

Project: Grade or Reslope Grounds for Landscaping
Phil dug the trench we requested quickly and was able to refill it quickly after the electrician did his work. However, he left the landscape that was once a grass lawn with numerous rocks at the top. We expected him to dig (with his machine), remove the rocks, and fill. He agreed to remove the rocks and put them in the forest. He did not. We paid him almost $1000 for a day's work. Was this too much to ask for the $1000? If he wants us to change our rating, he needs to come back and remove the rocks.

We picked them because they looked most reliable, knowledgeable and inspiring. We really appreciated Phil's professional advice; the result was beyond amazing! Out of three other estimate we had got, it was the most modest (I have to admit it was also one of the reason we choose them) but still so accurate at the end; We didn’t pay a penny extra than that we talked prior to the work in spite of the fact the demolition part was much more troubling and burdensome than we expected. So looking forward to the next project together!
