Very easy to deal with, responsive and fair. These are all the things I look for when hiriing anyone regardless of the project. Redmond satisfied on all fronts and would highly recommend since finding a quality contractor has proven extremely difficult in my experience.

We contacted John because we wanted a new deck built. We made an appointment and he showed up at our house on time to give us an estimate. He was able to give us a rough estimate on the spot and followed up with a written estimate via email within a few days. He started the job on time and completed it as promised in five working days. He was open to minor changes and adjustments along the way and his workmanship was of the highest quality. We would definitely use him for our next carpentry job!

Of the 3 potential carpenter contractors provided by ServiceMagic, Jon Redmond of Redmond Carpentry was the only one who promptly arrived for the estimate appointment as agreed which is extremely important to us and respectful of our business schedules. He also arrived as promised when the work was scheduled. His craftmanship was excellent. He provided creative solutions to two problem areas near our patio doors which he easily repaired and improved as a result. HIs estimate was very reasonable and the final invoice was most agreeable - no surprises!!! He worked carefully and cleaned up afterward. Very reliable! Highly recommended!

great experience! after the decking was torn up we realized we needed a new frame as well and Jon still got the work done on time. our deck is beautiful and is exactly what we wanted. it was a pleasure working with Jon and his crew they were all professional, on time and I highly recommend them!!
