Real Horizons is a fully established property inspection company serving greater Houston & surrounding communities. We are licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission to perform Residential & Commercial inspections and certified by the International Code Council to perform Residential Energy Code Compliance and Plans Examination inspections. Other services we offer are both Residential & Commercial Energy Audits which includes an Environmeental assessment, New Construction Phased inspections and Infrared (Thermal Scanning) for which we are certified. Of course we adhere to the Standards of Practice as promulgated by the Texas Real Estate Commission and International Code Council. We are also affiliated as members of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNachi)and International Association of Cerified Air Consultants (IAC). They were very nice and professional. They answered all of my questions. I also believe the inspection was very thorough. They found some things that I didn't notice, which kept me from purchasing a home that I would have to pour thousands of dollars into.

Quality of service was very good and far exceeeded our expectations. It is also fairly priced. They are very polite, sincere, professional and very prompt in following up with e-mails /phone calls and importantly take care in explaining things to the client. They have prepared meticulous report with good quality pictures and clear explanation, and delivered to us promptly. I will hightly recommend their service.

Geno and Gene (father and son team), were very thorough and detail oriented. They explained everything and helped us make informed decisions as first time home buyers. They also went above and beyond and gave us some cost effective energy efficiency tips. We would defintely reccommend them to all our friends and family.

Make sure he checks window for proper operation by opening

This was an unfortunate circumstance. However, The SOP's for Texas Inspectors requires that we inspect only a representative sample of windows on the premises for proper operation. This window did, in fact, operate properly as advised by the client, but had a broken seal near the sill which was not visible from the exterior which was checked. The window had to be opened to see the defect.

Eugene and his son were a great find, and they were professional, thorough and quick to give us the report. They were on time, gave us good solid suggestions on what to look for AFTER our builder fixes the items they found. Thank you for all your help in buying our new house.
