Project: Hire a Handyman
I had a hard time rating this one. First he didn't show up or call to let me know he wouldn't be there. He emailed a day later saying he was sorry we couldn't meet but if I was free the next day or so he was available. I emailed back and said No Thanks because I wanted someone dependable. He called & said he'd give me a 1 hr credit towards the work. I accepted & thanked him for his good customer service. When he arrived the second time, hwe came with LIMITED tools and could not repair 2 of the 3 projects, offering to take one back to his shop (at add'l cost) and the other he would return (also at add'l cost). This is no way to do business!

Project: Clean Windows
I had them clean windows and some of them are smeared and I l need to redo them. Mr. Ramey was very responsive to getting the work and I appreciate that he wanted it.

Good inspection of all gutters. Gutters clogged from roofing shingles left over from roof replacement. professional team.

The workers were very nice polite and efficient. The items needed more than two people to move. I was fortunate that a stranger was here to help out.

Project: Clean Carpets or Rugs in a Home
He showed up with the same carpet cleaner you can rent at the store. I had already tried that. I will say that the carpet was a mess . I was expecting one of those truck mounted systems. He did work very hard and used a bucket and some scrub brushes and got out some spots I could not. He also showed up with his kids.

Awful experience, not to recommend. Hired them for gutter cleaning. Was impressed with initial contact, then things went wrong: had to chase for an appointment, they did not keep initial appointment, did not communicate, sent nice but totally inexperienced workers with absolutely no tools but a ladder, they broke a glass vase in the yard and let the ladder fall on our garden canopy. The canopy since broke and had to be thrown away. Mr. Ramey was initially going to replace the canopy, but after some email back and forth, have not heard back in several weeks. Rating: absolutely unprofessional and worst experience. Stay away!

Mr. Ramey moved two chest of drawers (one very large) . He moved one down two flights and the large chest up two flights. He is efficient, professional and a very knowledgeable furniture mover. I can't say enough good things about how happy I am with his services.
