I replaced my house and garage (separate) roof. Rob and his crew did an amazing job. They arrived on time and completed the entire project in two days! The workmanship was excellent, the crew was professional and the job was completed very close to the original estimate. They cleaned the entire property at the end of day 1 and at the end of the project. I received 4 estimates and RJW was on the low end. I would definitely recommend Rob to anyone who is looking to do a similar project.

RJW Contracting used the right materials for the right price on my difficult roofing job. They were more interested in doing it "right" than getting it done any old way, which was important to me. Of the several companies that came to give a quote, Robert (the owner) was the only one to bring a ladder and measure the pitch of the roof! When his crew uncovered less-than-desirable structure during tear-off he and his foreman Juan were there to discuss how to turn a mess into a miracle, order the necessary materials and get shingles on it before night (4:30pm in December!). I will definitely continue to call upon RJW Contracting in the future.

Project: Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof
Rob did a very very good job. He inspected the attic before starting and told us he could fix the problem caused by insulation hanging over the eaves (other contractors told us we had to fix it). Upon opening the covering on the eaves he found they were blocked with plywood. He quickly implemented a set of vents to fix the problem - all in one day. He used the highest quality products and his price was almost $1,000 lower than another contractor using the exact same products. Only negative was the cleanup from the old gutters left some sharp pieces of sheet metal around the house. Would definitely use Rob again on any project.

Robert was one of 8 contractors who provided an estimate. of the eight, he was the only one to spend considerable time with us, examining the roof, talking about what he would do, showing us a rather thick book of recommendations and simply chatting about his experience as a roofer. In fact he spent almost two hours with us. His team of men worked hard and did a great job tearing the roof off, replacing some rotted wood and cleaning up after. His flashing expert and his helper spent 5 hours forming and fitting copper flashing into our stone chimney. His company is one I highly recommend to anyone.
