Project: Remodel a Basement

My wife and I plan to add room to the basement and contact many contractors thru Servicemagic. We like Shawn (his partner Ron is helping out with the ideas also). He suggested us to enlarge our room on the top and add another room underneath to get more space and make the house more attractive. On the other house with smaller project, Shawn transformed our steep roof to 2 attic rooms. The project finished in 3 months and really worth for the money. We went through all the dramas because we had to sleep and eat in the dining room during construction. Shawn is very responsible and we respect him for his integrity, trustworthy, credibility, etc.

Project: Remodel a Bathroom

Remodeled bathroom, removing a tub and installing a shower, new sink, tile, and toilet. Salesman, Ron, asked lots of questions to fully understand what I wanted. They offered good value for the price compared with other bids. Subs were courteous and respectful. They cleaned up after themselves daily. Tile installers were conscientious, made constructive suggestions. Always asked if there was any doubt about how I wanted something installed. Shawn was responsive to several minor issues that popped up with subcontractors. He resolved them quickly. Returned all phone calls promptly. Will use again for my kitchen remodel next year.

He was wonderful. He was very intelligent, over qualified for the work he was doing, but very nice in his work. Highly recommend him to others. He is very knowledgeable, imaginative, made designs for the project. He is very competent.
