took a long time to get started because of color and stain matching with my previous stain, and also the weather. The main problem, though, was they left sticky oil all over my sliding glass doors that I had to scrub off and also there was a hard sap like substance on 2 boards of the deck that turned to sticky tree sap when the weather got very hot and I had to scrub those boards to remove all the sappy substance. Also they left stained paper towels stuffed in my trees and some also were found in my neighbors yard. I would use the company again because they did seem to try to do their best, but they really need some process improvement.

The house and pavement were clean, which is what I requested this job for. I came home to porch and patio furnishings still out of place. I contacted Greg to confirm that the crew would be back to finish the job after the house had time to dry. He stated that I was the last job of the day and there were no plans to come back out today. He did make an offer to finish tomorrow, whether that was his plan all along or a response to my inquiry I don't know. I had plans to use the porch and patio today though, so had to reset the furnishings myself. Use Protect A Deck at your discretion, but be clear with them what your expectations are.

Greg was very friendly and professional. He was able to provide a quote over the phone after I described my home and he provided the most affordable quote...almost $100 less than one of the competitors! Further, after contacting him to schedule a time to powerwash my home, he was able to go out the very next day and get it done while I was at work-I didn't evevn need to come home. I highly recommend Protect a Deck if you're looking for a professional to powerwash your home in the Charlotte area.
