Project: Treat, Protect and Maintain Trees & Shrubs
The person arrived when promised and gave me a complete evaluation of the trees on my property. He found one small tree that needed spraying and did so - no charge. He then told me what I should do to bring back the tree to good health. I would call them again without hessitation.

I was very impressed with the response time to my inquiry. I got a call back within hours. My estimate was done within 2 business days, and the work was completed the day after I agreed to the service. I did not quote out the job to other contractors as my birch tree needed urgent treatment, but the price seemed reasonable so I am giving 4 stars. I was impressed that the arborist sent to quote the job knew in advance of the concerns I had expressed to the owner about the use of chemicals due to my dogs health, and planned my treatment accordingly. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.

Project: Treat, Protect and Maintain Trees & Shrubs
My trees were hit with both an insect scale and a fungus. They sprayed a Dormant Oil to treat the insect scale a couple of weeks ago. They were supposed to return and spray a chemical indicated by the NY State Agricultural Cornell University Extension Institure to treat the far more serious Swiss Needlecast fungus but they didn't show. Called several times and got their answering service. Left messages requesting they come back to apply the chemical to kill the fungus. The Cornell U. people said that would have to be done every 3 to 4 weeks up to July 1, 2010. They never returned my calls.

The Gentleman from Pine Island NY failed to mention that since giving us this 1 star review, he again used our service in August of 2010. He then proceeded to BOUNCE a check sent in as payment. As of today, he still has not paid us for the work, or the returned-check fee.
