Pristine Pools

Horrible experience. First cleaning was satisfactory. However, no one came for the second cleaning. Called the owner and was told that the pool was cleaned. I advised that my wife was home all day and no one came, and that there were leaves on the surface and bottom of the pool. Owner insisted that I was mistaken since the pool tech was "reliable" and said that he cleaned it. When I persisted, he grudgingly agreed to "do me a favor" and clean the pool "free of charge," but that the pool was cleaned. However, when I ended the contract and went with another company, Pristine Pools did bill me for the "free" cleaning. Aviod like the plague.

As you can see from my other ratings this customer is the exception, and for a reason. It is his nature to be combative and contentious, and when I tried to be reasonable he became more unreasonable. I had to refer him to collections in order to get paid, this is the kind of person he is. Even with his one star rating I still have a 4.21. My other 14 ratings speak for themselves. I've been on service magic a long time as well, so keep that in mind when reviewing my company. It is inevitable that there will be bad experiences on both sides, but at Pristine Pools we've done a great job of keeping our customers satisfied.

Pristine Pools does an excellent job of maintaining my pool. I just bought a new property in austin and the pool needed some repairs and improvements. Eric and his staff were on top of it, they did all the repairs as well as upgrading any improvements that I needed. they are great !

Eric was knowledgable, professional and on time. Did everything he said he would and there were no surprises. Also took the time to share some tips on pool maintenance with me that was a bonus. I would call him again in a heartbeat.

He was knowledgable about the chemicals and admitted he primarily works on in ground pools. I have an above ground pool. He did reschedule with me which was a little disappointing since I had already had a bad experience with a different pool guy not showing up. He did come at his rescheduled time and answered all my questions and explained everything that we would need to do to keep the pool clean. My expectation was that he would've stayed on the job until the pool was completely clean, but he gave me final instructions on how to continue working on it to get it clean. I'm happy to say that the pool is finally clean.

Due to the clients budget, and the fact that from the outset of the project the client informed me she wanted me to teach her sons how to take care of the pool and that pool school was the most important part, I left the pool at a point where I felt her sons could take over but told her to call me if she had any problems.

Eric came out on a Sunday ...(the day I found him through Servicemagic) to assess my situation and was back Monday& Thursday... He turned my green mess ( my first pool... tried to do it myself...and didn't ) into a wonderful place to swim by Friday. From what I have seen Eric is honest, knowledgeable and hard working and he is now caring for my pool weekly. One more thing...my dogs like him. (they know good people)

I explained to the Pristine Pools' representative what my previous pool service was able to do and how they gave me "lip service". I wanted certain things done and Pristine Pools was able to make me very happy very quickly. Not only are they cheaper than the previous company but actually do what they say they will do it without me having to call them. I am a licensed Real Estate Broker and know how things should be done. I heartily recommend this company to anyone needing help with their pool.
