I had my floor refinished on Dec 2010 so it's been about a little over a year.Their representative that evaluated my floor was prompt and understood my project needs.It was easy to get hold of someone in their office and responsive.This really helped in resolving issues and questions.Their crew and quality of work was excellent.They addressed all the items I pointed out and they even refinished the areas under my radiators. Just to nitpick is to keep better eye on the plastic taping that seals doors the area from the rest of the house. Some dust was blowing into my kitchen bec the plastic wasn't completely taped down.No big deal though.

When seeking job estimates over the phone, I gave an approximate room size measurement that turned out to be larger than actual. Was charged for full price of my approximation rather than actual size.

I had them install new prefinished hardwood floors in two rooms in my home. The team was in and out in one day, left the area clean and neat. The estimator and administrative team were very helpful as well.

Not the company to go to if you want painted treads AND risers refinished....they can only do the treads. We found this out 1/2 way thru the project. Price was comparable and the owner, David, was very professional in how he handled our dissatifaction with the job. Crew was clean and friendly. Would recommend for other refinishing, just not risers! Also, know that they have NUMEROUS stain colors in the truck in case you aren't happy with the initial color shown.

This company hires many different subcontractors to do the work. The service and end result suffer because of that. One person came to do the estimate, another answers the phone and emails estimates, completely different people did the work, and again different guys came back to do the fixes (not ones, but twice!), owner stops ones in a while when they start work, when there are any problems, and to get paid. After the first round of fixing minor mistakes, they messed up the overall finish, they came back trying to fix the finish without resanding which did not help, and than we just paid and mooved on with painting.. Lesson learned

Prestige Wood Flooring utilizes different people for different tasks in a very organized manor. We have a Sales Manager, Office Manager and Crew Leaders who are all in constant contact with one another. Here the customer is defining “Subcontractors” as our actual Prestige crews, which we have three of. We pride ourselves with our 5 year guarantee that comes with all of our work. In this case when the customer thought the floor was too shiny, we recoated the entire project at no charge. All of the possible sheen level options were utilized.
