Good Crew and they finish thier job until the end.

Block wall looks fantastic! Would have given them a 5 start, but dead grass and a few sprinkler heads broken in the staging area have received limited response. Finally just dealt with it myself...

We had 3 very difficult neighbors involved. Toms personal skills were beyond magnificent and professional. He did all the managing; everyone was happy. He was so unbelievably fair and honest and did everything to assure 100% customer satisfaction and excellent work. He gave the retaining wall a custom style. It looked much better than what we had before. Great company to work with. My husband and I are still so grateful for his help with a difficult situation.

You won't believe how easy it is to work with Tom. His company is truly 'professional'.

I had 2 walls built and they look great. I also had sod and drain lines installed and irrigation lines re-routed. That portion of the project did not go very smoothly. The work was not initially done to my satisfaction and some of it had to be re-done. I had some difficulty communicating with the work crew between my broken Spanish and their broken English. I believe that some of the problems may have been avoided with more site supervision of the work crew. Tom Berenguel was very accommodating and willing to do whatever needed to be done as problems arose. I can only recommend the company for masonry projects.

It must be noted that the problems that arose were not due to the drain lines or irrigation per se. No, the concern of the client was of the "grading" of the sod/soil so that the water would move towards the drain locations. The client became concerned when rain started BEFORE the sod was installed (hence the project was not finished) and water accumulated in the soil, especially where foot prints were located, as would be expected. While a lack of communication did exist with the workers themselves, installing 150 sq ft of sod does not warrant a foreman. The client wanted the soil perfectly inclined towards the drains, and this was done.

Very good experience. They had good design ideas, where prompt and demonstrated good craftsmanship. I was pleased with how responsive the owner of the company was, Tom is great at staying in touch and answering questions. We are so pleased we're planning on using them on another project right away.

The wall that i had put up did not pass final inspection imediately. He had made it too tall for our city codes, but he came back and made it right. It did take awhile though for him to get past that final inspection and he actually called me and asked for final payment before i got the final inspection, so i thought that was kinda odd. They left, not big debris, but a lot of nails and pieces of wood, just small things that in the lawnmower could be deadly if the lawnmower shot it out, but overall i picked up everything, but overall he was very polite and came to do a nice job. After we called in the final inspection we requested payment on the assumption that everything has passed. The inspector did not pass because the wall was about 5 inches to high, so we took off the top course and recalled the inspection and it passed. If the issue with the debris had been brought up we would have addressed it. Please note, one does not use nails or wood to build a block wall.

Very happy with the quality work. Tom was very informative on the many questions I had/have. Prices were very competitive with the other bids I received.

We are not completely done yet, but I am thrilled with everything so far. Tom is possibly the most professional contractor I have every used. He has exceeded our expectations in every area.
