Project: Remove Trees
To remove a maturing fir tree that had been planted too close to our home, we engaged the services of Pave Tech. Adam Hatfield promptly visited our site to estimate the work needing to be done. In his personable manner, Adam quoted reasonable pricing for the tree removal, root grinding and chip removal - the latter two items to be done at a later time since the process involved different equipment. He even volunteered that enough chips would be set aside for distribution around the base of shrubs nearby. He also explained how they used plywood to protect the driveway asphalt from the weight their large bucket truck. After we finally received a current certificate of insurance, we agreed to terms. The Pave Tech work crew arrived at the appointed time and quickly set about doing their business. The fir tree (approximately 45 feet tall) was gone in a matter of a few hours, leaving a stump nearly flush with the ground. The crew cleaned up most of the scattered small pine trimming from our lawn. A week later, Adam returned to grind the muscular root system so that a lawn could be seeded around the stump site. All was done according to plan. There were sufficient wood chips left over to cover around most of the neighboring shrubs. Although some minor damage (grooves) was incurred during equipment unloading onto our driveway that had been paved over the previous fall. A separate Pave Tech crew returned later to perform profession seamless repair to the asphalt surface. This was possible since Pave Tech also repaves asphalt driveways as another segment of their business. The entire process took a little longer than we had expected, but, it was well done in the end.

They did a great job. However they did not hook the drain pipes back up on the corners of the house or clean up as much as we were expecting. Other than that they did a great job.

Pavetech removed several dead or dying trees from my front yard and also removed large pot bushes from my side yard. When they came out to give me the original quote, they noticed I could use a new driveway as well, and gave me a price to do all of the work. I did all of the work (including the driveway) and I am satisfied with all of it. They started a couple days late due to another job's scope being increased, but, this was explained well, and lines of communication remained open through the entire process.

Eddie was quick to respond to our need. His quote was very reasonable. He and his crew showed up on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up afterward. The members of my condo board are very happy with the work and would recommend Pave Tech anytime.

Great value for amount of work completed. Decent communication w/customer, not the most timely. Workers a little rough around the edges (not arborists). Stay on top of the work crew and work will be done as requested. Very accomodating while on-site.

I am Ping, Irene hurricane blew one tree into my neighbor's yard. They could not get in or out of their driveway. Eddy came in 25 min. 4 person-teem took less than one hour to complete the job. The cost is reasonable in this situation. I would recommend my friends to use this company.
