Our surveys are Not Free since we do take air samples and send them out to a laboratory to determine which families and what concentrations are present.
Our guideline protocols contained in IICRC protocols S500 and S520 demand that air samples-not visual surveys are the only appropriate method.
As the lab samples run $80 plus each and most homes need 2 to 3, our fees are normally $175 to $250.
We would be very happy to do your evaluation and feel that this is the only ethical method. At least 30% to 40% of our air samples-dictate that no remediation is necessary-saving thousands of dollars of remediation for the homeowner and/or insurance company.
