Recently, I had 2 occasions to use Patino Contracting and could not be more satisfied: the first time was a semi-emergency involving a leaky roof. No sooner had I tapped-into the Service Magic recommendation than the phone rang; it was Herculano, the owner of Patino Contracting. By that same evening I had an extremely fair estimate in hand which I immediately accepted. When I arrived home the following day, the job was done, expertly. I was overwhelmed at the level of professionalism, quality of work, speed of service and final cost. Not long after, on the day before I was to report to the VA for major surgery, I found a leak in a wall in a bathroom. I was frantic, given that I live alone, had no chocie but to leave the next morning and no idea how to handle the problem. I knew that Patino Contracting did NOT do plumbing but thought that the owner (Herculano) would be able to recommend someone trustworthy. This was a Sunday morning but one hour after I called Herculano was at my home taking charge and assuring me that one way or another he would take care of the problem while I was in the hospital, and that is exactly what he did. Suffice to say, Herculano and his company, Patino Contracting, is the best I've ever seen or been associated with; they remind me of days gone by when work was done on a handshake, done right the first time and done for a fair price. I would recommend him and his company anytime, anywhere, to anyone for anything. He is, in today's shoddy work world, a wonderful throwback.

My wife and I decided to hire the Patino Contracting to replace our roof and to make some minor wood repair after we got several estimates from various companies. One of the main reasons that we decide to hire them was because they gave us the best rough estimate and the best final estimate for the entire job. They told us what they were going to repair, how long it would take to replace the roof and repair the woodwork, how the shingles would be nailed down, and they guaranteed their workmanship. They gave us an estimated of completion date and they by far exceed the completion date which I have to say really impressed my wife and myself. They started their replacement and repair work on Thursday morning (7:00AM) and by the end of the day, they had replaced 15 sheets of plywood and the entire backside roof on our 1700 plus square foot house. Friday, the second days of repairs begin at 7:00AM and by the end of the day, the entire roof was complete much to our surprise. The crew worked relentless to replace our roof using hand held hammers and roofing nails to nail down the shingles to complete the job in just two days, which really flabbergasted us. My wife came home to see the roof and she was very happy with the new replacement roof, the quality of the work, and we were thrilled with every aspect of the work done by the Patino Contracting (You know when momma is happy I’m happy). I would recommend Patino Contracting Company to anyone who is looking to have roof repairs or roof replacement or minor woodwork because of the quality work that they do, their efficiency, and reasonable price estimates that they offer to their customers.  I have waited 6 months to write this review to ensure that my impressions of Herculano Patino and his crew are fair. Herculano Patino did an excellent job on my roof. First and foremost I can say that Mr. Patino treated me fairly. In my experience he is an honest and reasonable businessman who focuses on customer satisfaction. In terms of the pricing I received from him, his estimate was by far the most competitive of them all.  Even after he found an extra layer of shingles on the roof causing him to incur extra costs for removing and hauling old roofing material  he did not pass those additional costs on to me.
