My job was a bit challenging in that I wanted a black hardwood floor (from Shaw) installed before I moved into my house.  The window between Shaw getting the floors to me and the movers arriving was 1-day.  I selected Pars Floors and worked with Russ on the job.  Since it had such a tight turn-around, he and I communicated almost daily and he was a joy to work with.  He always let me know if something had changed and was flexible when a work-around was necessary to keep the job on schedule.  He is terrific and I will certainly work with him again!  Both the project management (from estimate to schedule) and quality of install were terrific!

We hired Russ to refinish our HW floors & replace tile in small laundry room. He asked us to get tiles, grout, etc, and his worker tried to charge us an add'l $30 to move the washer/dryer. Russ later said it was for the subfloor-never told us- we hate nickel and dimers. We did not pay the $30. I asked if we could sleep in the house overnight, had to clear out closets or cover up stuff on counters - Russ said no. When workers arrived, I learned that we were NOT to sleep upstairs that night, that stff needed to be moved out of the coat closet, and why didn't we cover up the things on the counters? I am a planner and hated the curve ball.

We had a great experience dealing with Pars floors. From the initial appointment to the jobs completion, we were dealt with great respect and complete professionalism. Russ gave us a lesson in all types of floorings and explained all the advantages and disadvantages of different types of flooring, answered all of our questions and we were surprised how reasonable his prices were. They did a fantastic job and we would gladly recommend them to every one.
