Rick was friendly, prompt to get the job started and worked steady to get the job completed. I was pleased with the job he did for me.

I started the process to hire a handyman to fix a few things around the house in mid-November and it was just completed with the last item to get the window locks installed on my living room window on 2/20/12. Granted there were a few holidays during that time but for this to drag on for three months was ridiculous. I am grateful it is now completed… I had the laundry room door fixed (needed new runners since the door was always falling off the track). I had a new patio door installed and had a doggie door installed in it as well (the dogs just love it and so do I). I had a broken window replaced and several window locks replaced. And at the recommendation of the contractor my downstairs bathroom needed a new toilet tank and the inside flushing mechanisms replaced since regardless of how much I tried to adjust the inside valve the water continued to run just a little bit (very annoying and wasteful). To make a long story short I am not totally satisfied with the workmanship of the services I received due to the following: 1. The tank is too big for the toilet since the seat will not stay up when needed (never thought I’d being saying that since we are always griping about “putting the seat down” LOL). This never should have happened since there was not anything wrong with the tank itself and only the inside “guts” should have been replaced. 2. One of the window locks is missing the back part to it so there is nothing for it to latch on to lock… Rick was aware of this and assured me that he would replace that as well but did not. 3. The patio door was not installed correctly since the latch would not stay closed… he tried to correct this by moving the part of the latch on the door frame out more… it does work better now but looks terrible since there is a gap between the frame and the latch. With this being said I feel this contractor lacked professionalism and just did not care about the quality of his work… and that in my opinion is unacceptable.

The project took 3 months because she special ordered her door which took almost a month. When it finally came in I was out of town and informed her when I returned. The door in question was to be placed in an old frame which was not manufactured for today's door specifications. All of my clients are given options when it comes to repairs. It is unfortunate when someone chooses to take a route that they are unsatisfied with, however it is not do to the quality of my service but their decisions. I guarantee all of my work and am always willing to do what I need to do satisfy my customers.

Rick was great. Responded within a minute. I never even heard from the other guys, but Rick provided excellent customer service and got done quickly with the work. Very good experience. I will use him directly for other stuff and reccomend him to anyone.

Ricks Home Remodeling was very prompt to get back with me,very honest and fair. Haven't started the project yet. Looking forward to seeing their work.

He did not do a bad job, but always in a hurry and I paid him the last payment on Tues 11/9 BUT he was to come back and finish up something, told him the touch up on the front porch did NOT look good, now I found a spot where he was to repair that does NOT look good, plus he left a scaffold attached to part of our roof...when he left on the 9th, he said he would be back the next day to finish up....I called him on the 10th....still no show...so I am not very happy at this point !!!! thank you Mike and Donna Wood

The reason i did not show up was because i came down with poison ivy. i explained that to them but apparently they did not understand.. the spots she found were after she paid me. i have now went back and repainted the porch and finished up she is very happy now.. thanx... rick

He wass very courteous and did a good job.

Rick was very professional and did a great job. He realized I was under a tight budget and did his best to keep within this budget. I would hire him again, though I wonder if he would work for me again. He was very understanding and if he was put off because of certain things about the job, he never showed it. Thanks Rick.

Rick was terrific. He gave us an estimate on fixing our shed and remodeling our bathroom. The bathroom proved to be a more extensive job than we had thought but Rick did an outstanding job. The shower looks like it belongs in a spa. We couldn't be happier and have recommended him to our family and friends. We would gladly give him more than 5 stars if we could.
