On The Level Concrete

Eric was to my job site in less than one half hour to give me an estimate and a very good one at that. He did the job when he said he would and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend On the Level Concrete.

These guys did a great job on pouring concrete flooring in our new loft. My only complaint would be that the job took 2 days longer than originally quoted. We had to plan to stay with friends at the last minute for 2 nights which would've been easier if they gave a better heads up. Also, they didn't seem used to working in a high end (anal) building. We had several neighbors complain about mess and noise but nothing too major. Other than those 2 minor issues, we were very very happy with the work and price.

They showed up and did the job as requested, BUT the quality and workmanship were absolutely NOT worth the money.

I didn't expect this. You only had positive things to say throughout the job. What's most disappointing is how this could've been stated in the 5/25/11 review but you opted to give the appearance that this was a totally different job. Like you said, I did the job requested plus I was willing to accomodate all the indecisiveness for the money spent.

Eric's quote was reasonable and he was very nice. The quality of his work terrible! The white concrete floors we paid $5,000 for were sloppy and VERY UNEVEN. He assured us of the product color but could supply no color samples. In the end, the color was not white but A greenish putty. He said that was the way cement looks and he then sealed the floors with a dangerous and highly flammable lacquer finish violating local VOC laws after he had said the floor sealents would be water based. In the end the floors had to be removed by another contractor at great expense and completely redone. It was a complete loss of $5,000 and a nightmare!

First, noone with my experience and expertise will ever guarantee a concrete color. It's a known fact that there are too many variables to factor when dealing with colored concrete. Second, color samples are always an option, but at a cost. They are not provided for free and you were not willing to pay. That was your call. Third, there were no VOC laws broken. Per your request I applied water base then a lacquer then an apoxy. Lastly, it's clear that my poor review is NOT due to anything done on my part. It's because you didn't know what you wanted. The other contractor did a totally different job than you asked of me! I did what was asked.

Eric Jones of On the Level Concrete was on time w/ his staff, quite efficient and most personable. Started the job on time and finished as scheduled. Workmanship was exceptional and staff cleaned up after themselves. If I have occasion, I would use On the Level again.

Company recommended cobblestone. She was happy with the workers but not the product. She is going to try and work something out with them. Her husband passed away and she will deal with this in a few weeks.

Professional, personable and pleasant to deal with. Eric came out, gave me the estimate, and we agreed with the price. Scheduling the job was fast and easy. The workman doing the job were prompt, very nice men and took pride in the work they completed. While doing my project, they were approached by a potential client and were very professional in handling the interuption. Would highly recommend On The Level Concrete anytime! Nice job and Thanks!
