I chose to work in this industry because It's exciting to see a home go from nothing to a custom designed staircase when we are done..I love working in Northern Colorado because I get to see so much of this great area, and get to meet so many new friends..We started in this industry in 1976 in Southern, CA.We describe our business as Family owned and operated

I recently had my railings and balusters replaced. The owner of "Old World Stairs", Mr. Robert Strewart is a true "craftsman" in every sense of the word. He performed beautiful work on time and on budget. Consistently showed up on time as scheduled and left the job site in a clean and orderly fashion. "Six" Stars in my book. My neighbors were in awe at the quality of the work performed. I highly recommend "Old World Stairs" for your next project.

We needed a handrail installed for the basement stairs in our older bungalow. Bob was extremely responsive and professional. The work was completed within two business days after we submitted our request to ServiceMagic! We were very satisfied with the attention Bob gave us, especially since it was a smaller job. The quality of the work is great too. We would definitely hire him again.

Bob was very responsive to coming out to give me a bid for the stair railing work. He listened to my ideas and knew exactly what I wanted the stair railing to look like when it was finished. He made very good suggestions on areas I was unsure of in the overall design and look. I needed some time in the middle of the project for staining and finishing and Bob was receptive to allowing me time to complete that independently. Bob is very friendly and his work was great at our house. I would recommend Bob to anyone who is considering new stair railings.
