On October 11, 2009 I called Harlan Taylor of Odd Job Services to bid a job for me. He was out at the job site the next working day and presented a bid by email, with phone explanation within 24 hours of viewing the job. The bid included an itemized cost schedule as I had requested and a drawing of the structure to be built and/or developed. By October 22nd, the job was done. I call that efficient. <br /> <br />Mr. Taylor’s communications were professional and courteous. The job required that he take out an old mailbox post from the ground, build a new post, add a new mailbox, determine an elegant manner to display the house numbers, and add the house numbers. He did all this with distinction. For example, he was able to recommend an efficient and economical design for the post while using quality materials such as carriage bolts and treated wood. The dimensions of the post, box, and number display were well balanced. And the numbers display gave the display a stylistic flair. <br /> <br />I very much liked how he efficiently kept me informed without spending lots of my time. He sent email and phone photos to me of materials he was considering, for my approval. He also courteously managed a neighbor’s question about the job. <br /> <br />I highly recommend Mr. Harlan Taylor’s work to anyone interested in detailed, timely, and courteous service. <br />
