Ross Tretsven, the President of Norway builders Inc. began his career in construction in 1978 as an 18 year old apprentice carpenter. After working full time for 2 years he went to school at the University of Minnesota where he earned a 4 year degree in Business Administration. After graduating he worked as a lead carpenter and also built and sold his own house and cabin. In 1988 he started Tretsven Construction and began subcontracting Carpentry Framing and Finishing. In 1992 he and a partner formed Norway Builders Inc. They remained a carpentry subcontractor building upper bracket Custom Homes but also began doing General Contracting. General Contracting has became the main business. Norway's past customers are their greatest assets. Many are repeat customers who have done multiple projects over the years.

Norway added an addition on to the end of our Rambler. Ross was extremely knowledgable all the way from planning to finished product. He was able to guide us thru the project, giving us options of how we could get the most bang for our buck. They did an excellent job of minimizing our exposure to actual construction, which was a great relief with our 3 small curious children. Norway's work crews and subcontractors all did a great job. We could not be thrilled more with our finished product. Having compared notes with other who have remodeled we feel fortunate to have found Norway. Great value and Great service!

Project: Build an Addition

So happy with the work that he did for us. He was on budget, on time and their worker were courteous, did quality work. Everything was way better than I thought. Everything he said he would do, he did well. On the project the was an issue, he would give a very good reason way it had to be done that way, he was right. He is the best.
