Best Improvements Co. Inc.

We were very happy with Best Improvements, they did a wonderful job. It was rare for me to find a contractor who had my best interests at heart. I sifted thru half a dozen. I told Lee that this was so successful for me that I would call him again when I get my next property.

Lee Gillenwater and his crew did a spectacular job. On Time and Under Budget. I was trying to save some money and act as my own General Contractor, but the 2nd story addition quickly got to be too much. Lee came in and picked up the pieces, fired my contractor, corrected the major mistakes, then finished up. When he says The Best For Less, he means it. C.L.McCarthy

NW Home Improvement Co. turned out to be an expensive contrator finder service only. Once they introduced the actual framer, whom he had never worked with before, he essentially became hands off. He did not review the plans or prepare a lumber take-off. I had one prepared previously but it was not to the framers liking. He even had me write a check to him for about 20% of the job and another check directly to the framer. NW Improvement was personal enough but didn't communicate the scope of the job well enough to the framer so an essential element of the project was not completed. I should have been more thorough in selecting a contractor.

This customer wanted to be his own General Contractor and could "Pinch A Penny" tighter than Jack Benny ever could.. We did additional work for him Free, but when we had to charge for additional work.. Guess What ?? To simplify things for the customer, I politely put him in contact with the framer directly to save that 20%... Industry Standard is 55%... You Tell Me ...

They saved us $35,000.00 and were the best!!
