Once they introduced the actual framer, whom he had never worked with before, he essentially became hands off. He did not review the plans or prepare a lumber take-off. I had one prepared previously but it was not to the framers liking. He even had me write a check to him for about 20% of the job and another check directly to the framer.  NW Improvement was personal enough but didn't communicate the scope of the job well enough to the framer so an essential element of the project was not completed. <br />I should have been more thorough in selecting a contractor.
