With over Thirty years of Roofing experience I've found that the commonsense approach works best, staying true to the fundamentals of Roofing and never gamble with other peoples Money. I have installed roofs on QFC stores to large warehouses, small garages to mid size homes. My most valuable experience though has come from over 14 years of working in the service sector (repair and Maintenance) of roofing, I have seen some very good products and workmanship, I have also seen mistakes made that left homeowners frustrated, heartbroken and left holding the bill. Please keep in mind that most residential Roofing Company's pay their employees piece work to remove and install their roofs, the faster they go the more money they make. Things get overlooked in their haste, they don'™t get addressed and they come back to haunt the home owner later. This is the most common problem I've seen, materials rarely fail, but workmanship does.
