They were very efficient, and did a good job and good cleanup afterwards.

National Tree Service came to give an estimate right away. Our tree was removed right away. The workers were friendly. They took down the tree, chipped the debris and cleaned our yard in less than an hour. The stump grinder came a different day. Our yard looks really good. National gave us everything we needed for the best value.

They came one day and gave me a price, Came the next morning and put the tree just where I wanted it. I liked their price and I have told three other people about their service. I like doing business with people like this and yes I have a business card and I will tell everybody that I hear that needs work as this about them. Good job and done as asked. Prompt communication and completion of the requested job. Reasonable pricing. Only concern was they started the job without informing me they were here and I wanted to insure the correct limbs, trees were removed. Some limbs were not removed completely at the trunk?

I would recommend with reservations. Mr Dennis is a smooth talker when he wants the business, but not so much when he has been paid. The job got done, but the whole experience was a bit chaotic. He told me they would be here areoun lunch tiime, which turned out to be 8:20 am. He insisited that a particular tree was on my property and needed to be taken down, even though I am still not convinced it was. There was an issue with moving "firewood" to the back of the house and resulted in 3 piles being left in the front yard, which an unhappy crew member had to return to pick up. I did not receive ANYHING in writing, a quote or a receipt.

They were fast in responding to my request and showing up for the job. They were professional, cordial and caring and cleaned up afterward. They also made sure the roof was tarped and covered to prevent anymore damage.

National replied promptly & issued a bid the next day via email. Removal, stump grinding, & trimming was done quickly & efficiently. There was some confusion with how the bid was worded so make sure you discuss exactly what you are having done with them in person & make sure the estimate is in your hand when you are discussing the job. I thought I had paid for the entire job only to have them call me the next morning & tell me the stump grinding would be an additional charge (yes it was on the original bid, as was the limb trimming & the tree removal... but as I said there was confusion as to how it was totalled) Did I feel cheated - you bet.

Please accept our apology for the confusion about your estimate. You probably assumed that tree removal includes stump grinding. You’re right, we should have explained that to you. It may seem too late now but stump grinding is always a separate service/charge. I apologize for the misunderstanding. But for sure we’ll use your case to avoid confusion to our future customers.
