Project: Install Laminate Countertops
He completed the project on time, and with decent quality, some of the corners where over filed, so where not as good as I would have liked. For the money it also would have been nice to not have been responsible for materials. I was also leery of the 50% labor payment upfront, it all worked out, but I was very uncomfortable with that.

Project: Hire a Handyman
The job was performed with some difficulty and we had to make adjustments including an increase in cost for the same job quoted 2 days earlier. Besides that the job was completed and he came back the following week to verify everything was OK.

Johnnie was very professional and friendly. Attention to detail on the painting was excellent, and he did a great job hanging some pictures in a difficult spot above stairs. I definety recommend, and will hire again in the future.

Johnny was courteous, did an excellent job of re-stretching our carpets and got the job done in a single day, as promised. I have already recommended him to some friends.

I don't know about how Mr. Johnny B. does carpet and tile. He does remarkable countertops. Remarkably BAD. He WAS cheaper than his competitors. Now I know why. Mr. Johnny B. is a nice enough fellow, very friendly and attentive to his customers. However, he is not from what I've seen a very skilled carpenter. He fabricated our countertop on site, which is fine. Except for the glue blobs all over the new ceramic tile floor and newly finished base cabinets. And the wood filler all over the newly finished walls. The edges on the tops were the worst bit though. 1 star cause he showed up, and 1 star because he refunded $100 for me.

Jonnie not only did a great repair job by being fast and doing good work, but he was was very friendly too. And he had the best price from all the other bids. He worked with my schedule and called me when his schedule opened up and ended up doing the job a couple days earlier than sceduled. Great Guy, very knowledgeable, won't go wrong by hiring him.
