Moodscapes, established in 1996, is a small landscape design, build and consultation firm, servicing the greater Boston, Cambridge, and suburban areas. Judi, the owner, holds a Certificate in Landscape Design from the Radcliffe Institute of Landscape Design, as well as a Certificate in Healing and Therapeutic Garden Design from the Chicago Botanical Garden, which allows her to focus on personalizing each landscape. We design and install landscapes to address the needs, desires and moods of our clients in residential, public and commercial settings. We use a design process which: - Focuses on the client's input every step of the way from initial consultation and site analysis to design approval - Installation - Focuses on the site with all its possibilities, issues, and horticultural requirements This dual focus process allows us to create long-lasting and viable landscapes, which are tailored to each of our client's special needs. We do everything related to the design and installation of your landscape. This includes consulting, planning, coordinating, picking out materials, installing and scheduling maintenance. Each landscape is ecologically-balanced containing many native plant materials and using only organic fertilizers. Our landscapes may include: - Ponds, Waterfalls and Water Gardens - Foundation Plantings, Perennial Borders, Mixed Shrub or Tree Borders - Restorative/meditative and Therapeutic Gardens - Woodland, Butterfly, and Shade Gardens. - Hardscape, such as Patios, Walkways, and Walls We specialize in large and small projects that will need limited maintenance so that our clients have time to enjoy many years of pleasure from the landscape designed and installed just for them!
