Overall very pleased with vendor, though some discrepancy between written estimate and verbal interaction. I highly recommend get everything in writting when the company rep comes to your house.

Make certain the contract spells out exactly what you agree upon. Ask many questions and get a completion date on the contract.

Project: Apply concrete finish, overlay, or coloring to existing concrete
Hired this contractor but his crew lacks the experience necessary to complete the project as contracted. The project was started on 11/22/10 by Modern Concrete and the project has not completed as yet due to the lack of experience, work ethics, and overall supervision on the job. I would not recommend this contractor for concrete resurfacing in the future.

Modern Concrete transformed my outdoor patio and concrete areas around my waterfall and BBQ area. I am so please with their work and the new look that I will be hosting a party for 50 guests before attending the tango performance at OCPAC in January. This company also did the metal flashing around the outside of my dining room and water proofed the floor in preparation for new carpet. Braulio, one of their employees, was especially hard working and professional. I have told the company to please come out and take pictures of their final project and to use me as a reference.

Overall we are happy with the way our floors turned out. They worked with us on finding a solution to any problems, they were very patient with us and started job quickly. My one complaint is that there were some communications problems. Be aware that most of the workers do not speak English and whoever you speak to about starting the job will not be there on site to direct it. Although we had these issues, our head project manager in charge was very pleasant, helpful and did an excellent job on a difficult floor! If you want a good price you'll have to deal with this lack of communication-- otherwise I'd go elsewhere and pay a higher cost!

From the first consultation to the last. This company rates the very highest in Professionalism and spirit. I was treated with the highest respect and the work was on time and finished on time. I had a Patio overlay and the workers were no less than artists in the back yard. I am more than pleased with this company and owners. I cannot say enough.
