Charged $300 for a solder. Felt it was a bit much, but given the fact we had to wait on my HOA to turn the water on/off I paid for his time more than the service. Was on time and available on the weekend if needed.

Miles Ahead Plumbing over-charged by $90 for a job that could have been done by another prof. for a much lower rate, The job involved the replacement of a stem behind the hot water knob.only.
