Our process is more than just installing insulation, we do it right! Cellulose Insulation is also a proven noise control insulation, absorbing substantial levels of unwanted sound. The fibers of cellulose insulation are much finer than mineral fiber blowing wool. When cellulose is pneumatically installed it takes on a liquid-like property that let it flow into cavities and around obstructions to completely fill walls and seal every crack and seam. No fiberglass or rock wool material duplicates this action. Liquid-applied foam plastics do, but they cost far more than cellulose and emit toxic fumes that can cause respiratory problems. Boric acid is added to the cellulose as a flame retardant and to deter bugs and critters from nesting in the insulation. We use only 100% Borate National Fiber Cel-Pak Insulation.
