Project: Repair or Service a Water Heater
Mello Plumbing was very responsive in respinding to my request immediately and then coming out the day after Christmas (holiday) to perform repairs. While he was here I had him do another project which was very helpful. I recommend Mello Plumbing to others and will use him again if I have future plumbing issues.

Very quick response time and respectful. Easy fix but it was time consuming. Several things weren't working properly and it was hard to know exactly what was the problem until you tested each component. But overall experience was good

I am very satisfied with their work to replace an old water heater, and their promptness in responding and completing the job. Appreciated the good clean-up and haul-away. I am especially impressed with the way Mr Mello communicate, frank and not condescending.

Kurt Mello was prompt, professional and true to his word. He arrived on thime, finished on schedule and on budget and even insisted on cleaning up the mess from the old leaking hot water tank before he left. He gets five stars from me

Project: Repair or Service a Water Heater
The Mello Team was overall a decent selection. Found the root cause of my leak and gave me a reasonable estimate but the final bill was higher than the quote. They did arrive almost an hour late. They were honest and said there might be 3 things causing my leak. They did not tell me that I needed a new water tank as some other larger plumbing company did (they are based in Boston), so that's a big positive.

Very personable. Arrived the next morning as scheduled and completed the job in a couple of hours. They removed old water heater and made sure all debris was removed. I would have no issues with using them for future plumbing needs.

Plumber never sent a receipt and after saying there was no surcharge for using a credit card he did add a surcharge for the transaction.Also left a mess.
Comment from Mello Plumbing & Heating
This is an unfair rating. I rescheduled other work to help this customer out in short notice. I did charge an extra service fee but the final cost of this project was a minimal of $200. less than any other contractor. As far as the mess, the cellar was very dangerous and had a dirt basement. The existing water heater was 6" from a sink hole that I fell into. I thought overall that a good job was done.
