Project: Remove Snow from Walks, Drives and Roofs
Hired to remove ice from roof and gutters. Because of ice buildup in gutters, as the ice melted, water was leaking in garage down a wall and threw a light. The guys with Meckel we very courteous. They showed up w/n half an hour of calling them. Job was done very well and they had salt!! even during a salt shortage. Pricing was very reasonable. Justin called the next day as a follow up call. We are def. considering using them for a spring project coming up.

Project: Install Carpentry Framing
I wanted to have a steel I-beam installed in my basement to remove a load bearing wall and open the basement for finishing. Justin was the only Service Magic contractor to actually contact me. It took some time to get the logistics worked out, but Justin worked with me and got the job completed on my timetable. My wife and I are planning on doing some of the finishing work on the basement ourselves, but will be hiring Justin to do the things that are beyond our skill level.

Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Owner Justin Meckel impressed me starting with our first meeting together and all the way through out the project. Mr. Meckel built a 400 sq ft, brick, four season room addition to my house with all casement windows. The finished product exceeded our expectations, was completed on time and within budget.
Mr. Meckel was an excellent communicator, honest, timely, dependable, friendly, "very" knowledgeable and the quality of his work has exceeded our expectations. If I ever had a question, I knew he was just a phone call away and almost always answered his cell phone or called me right back. I'll definitely use him again.

Project: Install or Replace Exterior Doors
Justin Meckel is a very nice young man who works very hard. He put in 2 new steel doors for us, replaced locks, & did some exterior painting/repair. Also did some ceiling repair. Did a good job & was very reasonable in his pricing compared to the other contractor we got a quote from. I'm having him back later this year to do some interior painting for us.

Although I do not have any plans on building my deck until Spring next year we decided, the guys came out and looked at my area and helped me decide on the right look. Very informative and professional and enjoyed their visit. Will be looking forward to working with them in the spring.

Project: Hire a Handyman
He called and set up an appointment to come look at the project and talk about ideas we had about it. After talking with other pros, Meckel Construction had much better ideas on how to fix things and were very reasonable in price. We then set up a day to do the job and he did a great job. He made sure we were happy with the results and left everything nice and tidy afterwards. We are definitely going to hire him for other projects soon!
