For a blown fuse and a slightly low freon problem, I was charged for 1.5 hrs labor.The problem was communicated to me after the diagnosis, but the cost was not communicated to me prior to the repair. I was surprised with the bill after the repair.  I had to bargain it down to a price based on a negotiated labor rate.  It is still outrageaous to take 1.5 hours to find a blown fuse problem. He was very informative on my options, provided me with an estimated, and sent a technician immediately to evaluate the issue. Within an hour he called to advised me that I needed a new tank (which was expected). He gave me a verbal quote that was exactly what John estimated - no "add-ons" (good feeling that this is a very reputable company), and received an e-mail confirmation immediately.
