Excellent experience with Marquis!

The rep arrived on time, was VERY informative to our wants and had an excellent knowledge of his job. He took his time and never semed to rush, even though it was late in the evening. A very accurate measurement. The price was outstanding, much lower than the other quote we received. At that point, we chose Marquis Flooring.

Good work, but started late and ended late.

Lynn was very helpful in decision making process, he is very knowledgable in products he sells and has great suggestions.We had both carpet and vinyl installed within a week of making our decision. We're happy with everything with a couple of exceptions, padding in the closets was not replaced with new padding, and the connection to the toilet leaks. Customer service could be improved by a follow-up call.

Always let the company you hired know of any concerns immediately! This customer did not contact us on any of their concerns! We are not in the business of selling and not providing. As for the leak. This would be warranty! We do make follow-up calls within 30 days to see how the consumer likes their new floor! We are in the process of changing our follow up calls to a week after and annually. This job was inspected on 3-1-2012 and I did find the installers did not replace pad in closets. The installer has been dismissed. We refunded Cathy for pad and repair per our mutual agreement.

I conacted Marquis Flooring Services due to good ratings. Lynn came to our home with samples & discussed what kind of carpet I should get for the areas I wanted done, & offered helpful suggestions with no pressure. I then went to a couple of carpet stores & got a completely different "feel"; too big and impersonal. I called Lynn back & we met him at his office to review more samples & made our selections. A crew of 2 came a week later & did a quality installation job in a timely manner. They were polite and professional. Lynn and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. I was on a tight schedule after buying a foreclosure and trying to get moved in. I needed the floors refinished and carpet installed in 3 bedrooms and only had a week to get in done. I met the guys to refinish the floors on Monday and picked a color. They sanded down the floors on Monday and stained everything, put the first 2 coats of finish in on Tuesday, the carpet guys installed the carpet on Thursday and the refinishers finished the wood floors on Friday so I could move on Saturday. The process sounds painful but Lynn's team made it seem effortless. The final product is perfect and I LOVE my floors! Thank you Marquis Flooring for doing such an excellent job!

Carpet had to be done twice due to not done correctly to first time. They did fix the mistakes, customer service was great. The carpet layers did not speak good enough english for us to communicate.

The installers that were used on this job have been dismissed from working for us. We regret the inconvenience this has created for our customer. We do take care of all issues and concerns that our clients have and always will in an expedient manner. In this case I inspected the job the next day and scheduled a different installer for the following day. This should not have happened and I am totally embarrassed.
