- Matt Scanlon was selected to compete in the Pennsylvania/New Jersey Plumbing, Heating Cooling Contractors ( PHCC) regional apprentice competition at the PHCC convention in Atlantic City. The competitors were judged on accuracy, neatness and timely completion of the job. Matt earned 1st place in this regional competition, and qualified to compete at the National PHCC convention in Las Vegas later in 2010.
Community Involvement
- Mark Scanlon is a lifelong resident of Narberth. Mark is a Licensed Master Plumber establishing Mark Scanlon Plumbing and Heating in 1980. Mark has been an active member of the Narberth Volunteer Fire Company for 38 years. Mark is a Life Member of the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Narberth and Lower Merion where he served as Chief from 1980 - 1983. Mark is married and has 3 grown children.
- Matt Scanlon, also a lifelong resident of Narberth officially joined the company 4 years ago, even though his plumbing education began many years ago. Matt is a graduate of the Philadelphia Suburban Plumbing Apprenticeship Program and is a Journeyman Plumber. Matt is an EMT with VMSC of Narberth and Lower Merion. Matt lives in Narberth with his dog Schroeder.
