Project: Remodel a Bathroom
Jeff and his crew were great! On time everyday, they worked like men possessed, putting in long ardous days. When problems were encountered, they were quickly addressed. The work was excellent and everyday the house was cleaned before they left. Their attention to detail was amazing--it was as if I had done the work myself! Even with the problems encountered there was very little in the way of cost overruns from the original quote. I have already spoken with Jeff about having him do a complete gut remodel of our kitchen. He obtained all the materials, so I had no responsibility other than to check the work and write him a check. Great outfit.

Project: Build an Addition
We had an excellent relationship with Marathon Construction when we built our mother-in-law addition. From the design phase through to completion, any issues which popped up (which are inevitable) were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The project was completed on-time and in a seamless manner. Jeff was always easy to reach. The workers who assisted on the project were courteous, hard-working and kept a very clean project area. We couldn't be happier with the results. Jeff helped us design and build the exact living space that we wanted, and we would happily recommend Marathon Construction to anyone.

Project: Remodel a Bathroom
MINOR areas should some lack of attention to detail but were fixed when I pointed them out. Tile work was good. Jeff's workers are polite. They need to be a little more careful with protecting the house during work though. Jeff is fair and tries to please his customers. He is on the high end of pricing but seems to be fair and willing to negotiate on certain items. I would recommend him to friends that may need work.

We exceptionally pleased with the contractor and his team. We chose a labor only contract for a redo of two bathrooms, a foyer retile, and tape/spackle job in a 4th bedroom. They were timely in every respect, went above and beyond the call of duty with regard to providing advice, suggestions, and options while always being watchful with our budget. The team exercised great care with our home and various schedules. The tilework was nothing short of artistry. This was, in every respect, a great experience and if Marathon can find a spot for us in future, we will be talking KITCHEN!!! Thank you again, Jeff!!!

We purchased our cabinets from a third party - experienced designers who recommended Marathon. From the minute we met Jeff Markowitz of Marathon, we knew that he was the best contractor to deal with. Even before getting the contract, Jeff redesigned several aspects of our kitchen plan to make them more functional and much more aesthetic - he came in with a very fair price and throughout the process his function was to make us happy, which he did. Our kitchen is beautiful and easy to use, the work first-rate and the experience was nice, it was even fun. Any future construction at our home will be done by this company - very highly recommended.

Jeff was a very professional. He very reliable started and finished the work on time, as promised. He is handling the work very seriously, trying to make his work perfect.The results of our new bathroom speak for themselves. Also based on this long experiance doing bathrooms he will give you good advice which tile, floors bathtub, ... to use and the bath design.

Jeff was very easy to work with, professional in his estimate and honest throughout our remodel project. He was flexible and made thoughtful suggestions. He was thorough and a perfectionist with all facets of the project. Jeff and his workers were courteous and considerate while working. At the end of the day he was meticulous in cleaning up and putting our living space back together. I would recommend him and would hire his company again.
