The only thing I absolutely did not like or appreciate is that at the end he said he can except tips if you are willing to or not. I thought that was rude. We always tip if we feel the job was done right and fair. I think this puts someone in an awkward position if they don't tip or don't have the extra money to do so. And then feel bad if they are not able to tip.

Many people appreciate the high quality of service they receive from Madd Hatter Chimney Sweep. Many would like to tip and wonder if they can simply add a tip into the check. The sweep's intention is not to offend, but merely to inform the homeowner. Tips are allowed in the check! Most homeowners are happy in fact pleased to know this. A look at all of our rating and reviews shows this. Besides, a closed mouth never gets feed!

They were fine. The gentleman who came out was very nice, but he was a little too chatty which made him slower than I thought he should be.

Our sweeps always take a little time to speak with the homeowner to ascertain if he/she has any special concerns or needs for their fireplace system in addition to the requested cleaning. This enables us to give each homeowner exceptional service with a human touch!

He was awesome. Did a good job, kept the mess to a minimum. He even posed for me to take a picture as my mom collects chimney sweeps.
