Project: Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof
We choose Mike Bates over the six other roofing contractors that we interviewed because he was very knowledgable and professional. He gave me an estimate for everything I wanted and for the price that I could afford. He and his crew arrived on time, worked late and was friendly and considerate. The area was safely maintained and clean-up was complete. Our roof looks great. Our experience was wonderful.

Mike Bates and his family team are amazing. They have held to all their promises for quality and perfection as well as their superior customer service. Our needs and dreams were always put first.Mike and his team always arrived on or before time expected and has always stayed late to complete the job started. We have decided to remodel our house and bathroom and Mike and his team is doing an amazing job. It is well over what we expected. We have been in contractor hell before and this is a refreshing remodel. I would recommend M. Bates over every other contractor out there. He created a dream come true for us. Amazing!

These are the kind of contarctors you dream of finding. Great quality, good attitude, lots of patience when changes are needed. Very accurate detailed work. Job done in a timely fashion. When they said they were going to be there they were. On a daily basis keept them informed on what was going on with project. All in all very delightful men to deal with.

I cannot stress enough how pleasant the entire process was with Mike and his crew. Starting with the estimate where Mike took the extra time to investigate what was under our original siding, which no others did. Since he was familiar with the builder of our house Mike identified issues ahead of time, avoiding surprises later and was able to provide a quote that he stuck to. Mike and his crew were as professional as I have seen and were meticulous in the details of their work. Unfortunately from what I hear it is rare to find such an honest and dependable contractor. Would recommend to anyone!

Project: Install or Completely Replace Vinyl Siding
Mike called me ten minutes after i put in a request , came by the next day for an estimate kept in contact through out the whole job and went above and beyond fixing things most contractors would just cover up . I couldn't be happier with the Quality of the work i will definitely use M Bates again ... In fact i plan on having M Bates Do the rest of my house..

Project: Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof
I called Mike with a emergency roofing issue. He listened to the details and offered to come out to Calverton immediately. I underestimated the job but he stuck to the original quote. He came all the way out by himself leaving his crew at another site. He did a fabulous job and the repair blended with the rest of the roof seemlessly. He also gave me a free inspection and pointed out that my chimney cap was missing and various other situations that I should keep an eye on. What could I say first quality job and costumer service. I highly recommend M Bates Roofing and Siding. Oh and by the way he halfed other quotes for the same job.
