Gorden did a great job finishing our basement! His price was far below other's. This was our first home improvment project, and it was done beautifully! Gorden is very knowledgeable, professional, and very understanding. I'd recommend him to anyone!

I needed a broken window replaced before I could secure the mortgage loan. Gordon was great! He replaced the window in record time and was faithful in sticking to his estimate even when the job required more time then estimated. I am very impressed with M.B.M. Homes' commitment to quality, dependable service at extremely competitive prices! In addition, Gordon let me know of problems and suggested solutions to items that the home inspector didn't tell me about. Every item that I asked for his opinion has been right on the money. MBM Homes did a great job!! Upon first meeting Gordon I could tell he would be the right person for the job. His estimate came in far below any other contractor I reviewed. He took the time to listen and offer suggestions when needed. He was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the renovation. I even took the time to call all of his references, and all the ones I spoke with said they would definitely hire again. I signed Gordon on and the rest is history. I would definitely work with Gordon again, and plan too.

Project: Remodel a Basement

Gordon is very knowledgeable. He provided recommendations and information for us to make informed decision for our project. We ended up only getting a support ceiling beam put into place and demo-ing part of the basement. We chose not to go forward with repairing the water leak in the basement and waiting to observe exactly where the leak is originating in the basement now that the drywall/framing was out of the way. Gordon and his crew did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. You can trust Gordon with your home.

Gordon and his team are great. This is a well-skilled, highly professional, quality-oriented, and easy-going team. They are very understanding, flexible, friendly, and creative. We enjoyed the whole proceess of our basement project and now we are very proud of our new basement, from stairs to bathroom, wet bar, bedrooms, dry walls, and to tiles. It was our best experience with home improvement projects and I already started to recommend Gordon and his team to my friends and relatives.

We commissioned Gordon to do some remodelling in our basement - removal of a wall, replace ceiling, install recessed lighting, new power outlets, new door, drywall repair and refinishing. We were extremely satisfied with the whole job. The work was done to a high quality in a timely manner. The jobsite was kept clean and neat. Gordon makes a real effort to please the customer. He reacted quickly to any issues that came up and showed welcome flexibility by doing some extra things at no cost after we had signed the contract. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

The extensive work completed in my house shows no project is too big for the MBM Home team. I had my garage converted into a livable office, with my washer/dryer moved from the basement to that garage finished room. I had a complete basement with full bath installed by the MBM Homes team, and finally I had a bathroom remodeled on the main level of my house converting a living room into a bedroom with closets. Gordon of MBM Homes provided me the complete schedule before work began and kept me abreast of all timelines throughout the job. All work was completed in budget, on time and in the most professional manner. I am truly a very happy!

We recently had our basement finished by MBM Homes, Inc. and were very pleased with the quality of work. The owner, Gordon Maheu was very professional throughout the process. The price was affordable and the job was completed on time. Mr. Maheu is creative, assures the job is done correctly, is open to suggestions and is willing to make changes without "nickle and diming" the customer.
