At first, everything seemed good- I was quoted a fair price and the company was very responsive.  I was interested in "green" building, and they are trying to develop a niche in that area. However, as the weeks continued things became more difficult. No one on the job site spoke English so I was constantly back and forth with the office staff so that they could translate my concerns to the workers. They made decisions about the building without my input and made sloppy mistakes that they still have not fixed despite a "guarantee". Much of the time they said "could not" when they meant "would not" unless I pushed it. End result - just ok.

MB construction provided excellent services and more than met my expectations.  The crew was very polite and kept the work area clean.  They were very responsive and willing to answer any questions I had.  The work was performed and completed on the provide according to the discussed timeline.  I would recommend MBC to anyone looking for quality work at a economical price.  My basement looks spectacular!  I would use MBC for all of my home improvement needs.  Special thanks to Andy, Rose, and Richard for being so attentive.

They do the most beautiful work!  Unlike other contractors I've had experience with, they didn't leave me hanging while the worked on other jobs.  They came when they said they would, they finished BEFORE the date they gave me, and I can't stress enough how beautiful and accurate the work was.  They take such pains in all aspects of the project. <br /> <br />I think I made it especially challenging for them because I gave them a photo of what I wanted but I didn't want to shop for tile or paint, etc.  Rose the office manager guided me on color choices and stopped me from doing a few things that I thought were good ideas but would have been terrible really. <br /> <br />I will never go with anyone else, I'll always want them and I recommend them highly.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  Cheryl Reese
