They did not do the job according to the way it was agreed. They left alot of tree branches and we had to call them several times to complete the job after threatening to do conference call with Service Magic Representatives if they did not return to complete project. The finally returned at 330 pm on 8/15/11 and did a horrible job. We are not satisfied at all and would not recommend this company and ask Service Magic to remove them from matching list.

We hired Light House to replace a broken section of our fence. They did what they said they would and even replaced a couple of other small pieces that were crumbling. Good quality but only a couple of things concerned me. The owner never told me they only take cash so I had to write him a check for a portion of the work. He also didn't have any receipts which doesn't come across as very professional. I created my own for him to sign. Also, after completing the work, he mentioned how the prices of materials had gone up. Not sure if he was trying to up his original quote but he didn't push the issue. I would probably recommend with caveats

When he came out for the estimate he was totally enthusiastic and gave us a good price. He came in a timely manner to do the work. After he was in to the job for a while he seemed to lose his enthusiasium BUT he did complete the work and did a good job. I would hire him again.

Although they were not available to complete the work at the prearranged time they called and explained why and established an alternate time. They showed up promptly at the rescheduled time and completed the work efficiently and quickly. They cleaned up the site and were always courteous and polite. The rates were reasonable. They even completed a job for my neighbor the following week. I know he had been putting off having the work done for several years. I have to assume that it was because of the reasonable rates and the quality of work including cleanup.
