Rick Hopp from Lighthouse Builders is a fantastic person to work with. He and all of his crews were timely, capable, and professional, making the accomplishment of our project simple, easy, and right on schedule. We are EXTREMELY pleased with how the entire experience progressed, from demolition to full finish. My wife and I are so pleased with Lighthouse, we WILL be working with them again on future remodeling projects. And with an 82-year old home, there are several more to do. No doubt Rick and Lighhouse will be involved when we do them. I could not possibly recommend them any higher.

Rick and his team were so great to work with. They were always punctual, detailed and clean, and completed the work as promised with high quality and on-schedule. Every sub-contractor Rick used was pleasant and made sure their work was done to the standards Rick expects. If there were any changes/issues Rick brought them to us right away and gave us options with a recommendation before spending more. We have been so happy with their work that we have had them help at our rental property as well as help us with some smaller jobs during their downtimes. I would highly recommend Lighthouse Builders it is a great company with great people.

took 15 1/2 weeks to complete a (large) room addition (and it wasn't weather, or us!), the general contractor wasn't on site very often so my husband had to act the general contractor on site, Rick was often slow to respond to complaints (eg, took a couple of WEEKS to address a leak in the roof, while we had several large rains that leaked INTO the house itself), and he "nickeled and dimed" us outrageously (only it was hundreds of dollars, not dimes). Quality came out pretty good, but will never use them again!

Every effort was made to make this customer happy, and Mr. N said he was. Tried to explain that when you get a sketch of the project it takes a few weeks to draft plans, get engineering and permits. Construction took 11 weeks. 3-day rain delay on foundation. County requested engineering inspections were extra. Discounts on every change order were given. When the customer sleeps in till 9:30am they won't see you when your there at 7:30 getting the crew started! Roof leaks were in the addition during tie in phase.In over 22 years of business we have had 2 other reviews like this. Some times it helps to read the contract a little better.

I would highly recommend Rick Hopp and Lighthouse Builders based on our recent project. Rick was timely and competitive during the bidding process and discussed all aspects of the project. Once the project began, Lighthouse Builders protected our house from dust and dirt and kept me apprised of the status of the project on a daily basis. Any changes in price or scope were discussed and approved before work began. The project was finished in a high quality fashion and in the agreed upon time frame. Rick was the ultimate professional. He worked extremely well with Denver City/County to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy and his work was on time and actually enhanced the property.

I used Lighthouse Builders to build my garage, they not only met my expectations but far exceeded them as well. Rick Hopp met with me and helped me find the right plans to fit my needs as well as my budget, he provided me with a schedule for each step and let me know what was being done aong with way. The garage was built with the craftsmanship of an experienced and knowledgeable contractor and his customer service was top notch.
