Contractor wanted to get over with it fast and did. Quality was marginal. Price was steep to begin with and grew at the end for additives he should have known at the beginning - and i am sure he knew.

I was looking forward to getting great service from Lauderbaugh but it not only took him 6 hrs to install a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal and charge me by the hour but he also exaggerated the cost of the garbage disposal and would not show me the receipt. I had to insist on it and later saw that he had charge me $270 for a unit which was only $100. I was shocked and i also had to renegotiate my payment. Very unreliable and i felt hurt and cheated.

this is what you get when you talked to one person and the price is agreed upon and you get another person when you present the bill, that wasn't there to begin with.they where just looking for a bargain. i will not work for them again.

Make sure you know exactly how Mr. Lauderbaugh charges and for what beforehand. While I was pleased with his response and he fixed my leaky shower faucet. I was floored when I received his invoice. He was at my home 20 minutes -- the washers were $1.00 each and yet my total amount was $132.00 -- He charged me for 1-1/2 hours and yet his ad says you are not charged for travel time. He also included $12.00 for the lead on Service Magic site which really isn't my responsibility to pay. The price has been negotiated to $75 which I still think is overpriced for the time it took and the parts used to replace 2 $1.00 washers. Have experienced problems again with shower handle. Mr Lauderbaugh said he would come back on Friday to fix, received call 2 day's later cancelling and advising that he would have to charge me again to come back as he only guarantees his work for 30 days. So I'm pretty much back to square one and I'm out 79.50.
