The technician had only worked for two or three days for this company before being assigned to do my sprinkler pipe repair. He made it work. However, the truck came without the right parts so it took longer to do the job and I had to pay for the extra time. That was not fair, even though the job came in a a competitive price. I was counting on it costing $65.000 and it cost $100.00. Furthermore, the installer buried the pipes before I could see the job...he said he had to use right angle joint couplers instead of slip joints that would have gone it very easily. Still, it doesn't leak...so far.

We were preparing to go out of town and our sprinkler system wasn't working. Landscape services was able to get someone to us in the three-day window before our trip, and they fixed the spinkler. The problem was the customer service. They sent sent a guy, working alone, on his first day on the job. He spent way too much time searching the truck for parts (billing us for the time) because he didn't know where anything was. He dug big holes in our grass around the spinklers, but assured the grass would just grow back - the grass died.

We ended up hiring Landservices, Inc. to do a complete landscaping job. The workers were very professional and hard working. This company does high end work and are reasonable with pricing. I was also very impressed with how creative they were in the overall design. Although the job is complete, they have offered to come back to fine tune things such as the sprinkler system and plants. I would highly recommend this company to others and am likely going to hire them to do monthly maintenance.

Project: Winterize or Activate a Sprinkler System

They overcharged for services. The technician was there an hour and a half before our scheduled appointment time and went on my property without me. He did not have my permission. Then billed me for the time he spent doing things I didn't ask him to do. I hired him to fix my timer. He spent time checking my system for leaks without me and then charged me for the time. My neighbor says he spent most of his time in his van. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We don't have dissatisfied clients, and know after 31 years of serving happy customers - the importance of RESPONDING instead of reacting to "sticky" situations; This CLEARLY is one of those. We still are persisting in our attempt to communicate with the client, and hope she will respond so we can understand and correct her dissatisfaction. As I reviewed the original call and work order; the specifics don't "match". Irrigation service work is difficult to schedule precisely - as the previous service call may have more (or less) time demand, depending on whether the problem is simple or complex.
