Landscape Illumination is a Valparaiso, Indiana based company dedicated to the art of landscape lighting. Our company was founded in 2000 by Darrin Selking. Darrin, who has a double degree from Purdue University in landscape management/design and turf grass management, designs, plans, and is involved with the installation of all lighting systems. We are members of the Porter and Lake County Indiana Builders Associations as well as the Low Voltage Lighting Institute of the Americas (LVLIA). This is a professional organization made up of lighting contractors and manufacturers dedicated to setting forth standards and increasing awareness of outdoor lighting. Landscape and seasonal lighting are our only business, not a sideline or an addition to other design activities. We have the knowledge of proper fixture placement and light capabilities which is by far the most important aspect in professional landscape lighting design and installation. Allow Landscape Illumination Inc. to enhance your landscaping or extend the architecture of your home. Outdoor lighting fixtures illuminate smooth transitions between indoor and outdoor living spaces while softer lighting textures create inviting scenes and dramatic shadows. No project is too large or too small for our prompt, courteous service. We have installed lighting systems costing from several hundred to over $25,000 dollars. In 2002, Landscape Illumination became the largest installer of outdoor lighting systems in Indiana, Lower Michigan, and South Chicagoland. In 2003, we became one of the largest lighting companies in the Midwest.
